Animé Los Angeles is a volunteer run event. Recently our volunteer staff have received threats, aggressive emails, and attempted doxing by a number of individuals. While it will always be our goal to provide a safe and enjoyable event for all our attendees, we have decided to revise our COVID policy again to match the standards set by the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services.
All attendees (including guests, vendors, artists, etc.) must provide proof of fully* vaccinated status or a negative COVID-19 test within one day for an antigen test and two days for a PCR test before event start time. On-site testing will be available (for a fee) provided by ModMD. Children under 2 years of age are exempt.
Additionally, masks must be worn (except when actively eating and drinking) at all times.
Also, you may not pick up badges for anyone other than yourself. Should anyone no longer wish to attend, we offer options to transfer to someone else or to rollover your ticket to our 2023 event. Please email us at <[email protected]> for additional information.
