
Hiroshi Nagahama was born in Sailki City Oita Prefecture, in Japan in 1970.
Having started his career in the animation movie industry at Madhouse Studio, participated multiple movie productions such as the Cockpit, Azuki-Chan, and Revolutionary Girl Utena. He served as a conceptual designer for Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Back in 2001, he worked on the storyboard artwork for the anime Furuba, best known as Fruits Basket.
Nagahama then worked as a storyboard writer and anime director for the animation movie titled Sexy Command Gaiden: Sugoiyo! Maru-san. He directed well acclaimed titles such as Mushi-shi, The Detroit Metal City, Flowers of Evil. He has received the 11th Anime Kobe Individual Award for Mushi-shi.
In 2017, he worked with legendary comic writer, Stan Lee. They worked together on the title “The Reflection.” He was honored to have an opportunity to work with Mr Lee on such project..
