Andrew J. Alandy is a host, actor, competitive gamer, commentator, and TTRPG personality hailing from Los Angeles, CA! He has gone to Anime Los Angeles since 2008 and grown with the convention; he is excited to return as one of your programming hosts!
Andrew’s passion for anime began at a young age when he first watched Robotech; he has since parlayed his love of anime, comics, and gaming into hosting at multiple conventions across the globe, including Holiday Matsuri, Anime Expo, Pacific Media Expo, Saboten Con, Tsumi Con, and Storm the Block, among others! His love of fighting games led him into commentary, becoming one of the official commentators for the Evolution Championship Series 2024 for Street Fighter 3: Third Strike as well as the lead commentator for The Jazzy Circuit!
Andrew has not let his love of performing take a seat with stunt credits on “Battles B.C.: Judgment Day at Marathon”, “Warriors: Islands of Blood”, and “Art of War” on the History Channel, as well as parts in the short films “Home Away” (2017) and “The Date” (2018). He has also ventured into voice acting with parts in “Vampire: The Masquerade – Port Saga” as Dante Mendoza; and “Dreams and Machines” as Dr. Izu Chavez. Additionally, every year, you can find Andrew as “Sir Alandy”, one of the stage knights for the Labyrinth Masquerade, one of the most renowned masquerade balls in the world!
