Featured Performers PROTA Prota is a ragtag ensemble of taiko performers based in the Los Angeles area. The individual members of Prota come from diverse taiko and artistic backgrounds. Our experience levels range from a few years to more than two decades, and we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what taiko means to each of us. As an ensemble, Prota is committed to performing innovative, high-energy taiko and sharing its artistic vision throughout the greater Southern California area. 
Against The Sun is SoCal’s premier Hard Rock/Metalcore act. With their unique blend of heavy instrumentals, clean yet intense vocals, and harsh honest lyrics, they create a powerful listening experience that has garnered the band a dedicated following. They recently released their second EP, ‘Silhouette,’ that balances the ferocity of Modern Metalcore with the catchy choruses of Hard Rock and Emo, delivering adrenaline pumping riffs and beautiful melodies in equal parts. Over the past two years of recording and local touring, Against The Sun is known for their fierce and captivating live performances.
