CattyJayy is a cosplayer, novice photographer, crafter of all things crochet and friendly neighborhood Con Mom from Phoenix, Arizona. During the pandemic, she found joy and a whole new world within cosplay, teaching herself how to sew and put together costumes from her closet and through thrifting. Whether it was anime, movies, or book characters, she found a way to bring them to life.
As a longtime Ren Faire playtron, CattyJayy often depicts herself as a pirate or fae at her local Faire. Wanting to expand her skill set, she spent over a year learning how to weave scalemaile, style wigs and work with difficult fabrics to depict her long-time favorite character, Toothiana, from Rise of the Guardians. She enjoys bringing the tooth fairy to Ren Faires and Conventions alike to hopefully bring some nostalgia and whimsy to everyone.
