Children’s & Teens Cosplay Contest

The Children’s and Teen cosplay contest has been presented by Chibi Cosplay for the last ten years at Anime Los Angeles as a way to support our younger cosplayers and give them a platform to show off their cosplay on a stage for all their family and friends!
Rules & Event Process
- The Children’s & Teen’s Cosplay Contest accepts entries from attendees ages 0 – 17
- Handmade cosplays, store bought cosplays, closet cosplays, or any combination of the three are all welcome!
- Contestants will get to talk to the judges to share all the details about their cosplay, then hop on stage and show off to the crowd!
- Most importantly, have fun, and show off your favorite character!

About Chibi Cosplay
Chibi Cosplay is a family cosplay group who have performed skits and done walk-ons for many anime cons around Southern California and have won Best Group, Best Story Telling, Workmanship awards and Presentation awards for their cosplay. While performing at Masquerades are challenging enough, doing it with young children can add a whole new dimension to planning and performing. Having a platform for teens and young children to get up on stage and show off their outfit without the added stress of performing for a large crowd late at night was our inspiration for starting the contest. Our first contest had four contestants with our largest at thirty entries. All our judges are cosplayers from the community that come and assist every year to support our younger cosplayers.
